So I guess this means we'll be able to play MMOs in real-time someday. Great. Now if only they'd come out with one worth playing.
I don't believe they have anything. It's interesting they announced this after Google did. I think Cisco is just doing a bit of signaling to get investors away from Google.
More like prepare for insanely high bandwidth bills and a cease and desist order for accidentally DoSing servers you connect to.
Also, reword your post. Cisco has not created a revolutionary router, they're PLANNING to create one.

People spinning this and literally cumming in their pants over this new "release statement" will need to chill out.

Seriously.
What we really could use is a (real) national broadband development program here in the U.S. I'm on a pitifully slow DSL connection because it's the best I can get. And I'm tired of getting my doors blown off on bittorent by goat herders from Turkey, etc..
This is very awesome news!
internet not so fast where i live...crappy copper wires >.>

Google will make it happen. Cisco will continue to try and figure out how...... Besides. Something like what they are proposing would never go mainstream. Google at least is trying to take the ISP route. I signed my community up to be in the first test run. I doubt we'll get it though. =(
